The Homecoming game was a triumph for the Nogales Football team earlier this month. The Nobles won on Friday’s home conference game against Gladstone with the score of 58-0 on October 6, at 7pm.
Quarterback, Josh Lopez and Running back Andrew Carrazco, both did an outstanding job leading the team with 18 points each without difficulty. Fransico Ibarra, and Edward Vargas, both scored 6 points. The kicker, Angel Amaya, scored an additional 10 points that helped secure the win against Gladstone. By the end of the first half, the Nobles were able to lead the game by 34-0.
The coaches, prepared the players physically and emotionally. Before games, they review film and tell their players to work their hardest.
The coaches and players, did an excellent job conveying what they had to do to win the game. Coach Kim stated, “ The boys performed to their best abilities and they have been putting in hard work since the beginning of February .”
It was a super way to start the Homecoming weekend by getting that win. The crowd was enjoying the experience with the band and the Noble chants.
