Netflix releases an array of original projects in March of 2019

In March, Netflix is bringing some new titles into their library, such as: Turn Up Charlie, After Life, The Dirt, Triple Frontier , and The Highwaymen.

Turn Up Charlie is an original half-hour comedy produced by Idris Elba. Elba, who is playing Charlie in the show, is a struggling DJ that is given a final chance in success when he becomes a manny (man nanny) to his best friend’s daughter’s.

After Life is an original comedy by Ricky Gervais. Gervais, the producer, director, and leading actor of the project plays Arthur, a normal man who’s had a perfect life until it fell apart due to his wife’s unexpected death. Instead of him trying to end his life because of the loss of his wife, he finds a way to punish the world, avenging her.

The Dirt is an biographical film about the successful legendary band, Mötley Crüe. Based on their autobiography, The Dirt: Confessions of the World’s Most Notorious Rock Band, the film details Mötley Crüe’s most outrageously gritty stories for the world to see.

Triple Frontier is another Netflix-original film, that will be released in selected theaters. Triple Frontier is based on a true story of five military-trained men planning to rob a South American drug lord using their military skills.

The Highwaymen, a Netflix drama scripted by John Fusco and Scott Frank, provides viewers with a new spin on the story of Bonnie & Clyde. This new retelling by director John Lee Hancock, is shown from the perspective of the outlaws.

After Life premiers on March 8,Triple Frontier would be premiering on March 15th, Turn Up Charlie will be premiering on March 15, The Dirt on March 22, and The Highwaymen on March 29.
