Next month, action and horror movie titles including Shazam, The Curse of La Llorona, and Avengers: Endgame, are coming to theaters.

Shazam (2019), directed by David F. Sendberg, is about a 14 year old boy named Billy Baston (Asher Angel), who can transfer into an adult superhero (Zachary Levi). He can magically turn into a superhero by shouting one word which is Shazam! However, Billy has to figure out how his powers works to defeat his enemy, Dr. Thaddeus Sivana (Mark Strong).

The Curse of La Llorona (2019) is based off of the Latin American folk tale about the ghost of a woman who lost her children and continuously weeps while trying to find them. Hearing her cries bring bad luck to those who hear her. Anna Garcia, a social worker and her young children enter the supernatural area as La Llorona (Marisol Ramirez) roams the night and begins to stalk the kids. They only have one hope of escaping La Llorona: to find a priest who practices mysticism, and make sure that the La Llorona stays away.

Avengers: Endgame (2019) continues the story of Avengers: Infinity War (2018) and displays the aftermath of the universe. As fifty percent of the universe is destroyed, Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) is stuck in the middle on a deserted planet with no water or food as he sends a distress call to Pepper Potts while his oxygen levels start to falter. The remaining Avengers back on Earth have a very important task to do, they must take down Thanos (Josh Brolin) and possibly find a way to get their friends back such as the Black Panther and Dr. Strange who died in the last film.

Shazam will be premiering on April 5, 2019, The Curse of La Llorona on April 19, 2019, and Avengers: Endgame on April 26, 2019.
