After a chilling and heart-breaking season finale of Stranger Things 3, the television series is releasing a new season, Stranger Things 4. Rumors say the newly announced season will likely be released sometime in 2020.

Introducing a new horror storyline for all young viewers, the first season caught the attention of the masses, and since then, has been a hit series with shocking twists and turns in every episode.

Most of the recurring actors are certainly coming back including, Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown), Will (Noah Schnapp), Mike (Finn Wolfhard) and Max (Sadie Sink) . However, Hopper (David Harbour) may or may not be coming back, since he has been pronounced allegedly dead.

An announcement from the official trailer concluded that the story is heading out of Hawkins. A teaser from the last season reveals that it is possibly happening in Russia, since a mysterious American in the post-credit scene was taken hostage.

Eleven may not possibly be able to regain back her powers in the new season, which poses an awful cliffhanger for viewers. Fan theories even say it is possibly linked to Hopper’s alleged death.

Director, Ross Duffer, told Vulture, “We are thinking it will be a season-four thing and then out.” Then adding, “We just have to keep adjusting the story…though I do not know if we can justify something bad happening to them every year.”

Many fans have predicted there might actually be a fifth season as well, ironing out any folds the fourth season may bring.

As most guessed it, executive producer, Shawn Levy stated, “There is very much the possibility of a fifth season. Beyond that, it becomes I think very unlikely.”

Now, there is an eager wait for the next season, hopefully bringing new hair-raising events into play.
