During the months of February and March several highly anticipated movies are expected in theatres.

The Invisible Man comes out on February 28, 2020. The director is Leigh Whannell, and the members of the cast include Elisabeth Moss, Oliver Jackson-Cohen, and Storm Reid.

After being in a violent and controlling relationship, Cecilia Kass escapes and disappears one night. Her ex commits suicide and leaves Cecilia some of his fortunate, but she believes his death was a hoax.

Meanwhile, she believes she is being hunted by someone, no one can see but her. Her life and the lives of those she loves are being threatened by this invisible entity.

In the article, “No One Believes Her” by John Squires, Elizabeth who plays Cecilia states, “You literally have a man who is invisible, you can’t see him, she’s saying that he’s there, that he’s attacking her, abusing her, manipulating her, and everyone around her is saying, ‘Relax it’s fine.’”

A Quiet Place Part 2 is coming out March 20. Director John Kransinski wrote this mystery/horror and stars Cillian Murphy, Emily Blunt, Noah Jupe, and Millicent Simmonds.

In Part 2, the Abbot family is facing terrors from the outside world while they are trying to survive in silence. Being forced to venture into the unknown, they realize that the creatures hunting them aren’t the only ones they must fear.

Sandra Gonzalez stated, “In the sequel, which are like the first was written and directed by John Kransiski, the family meets new possible allies and learns the terrifying creatures that have taken over the world might not be the only threat.”

The newly, reimagined Mulan film releases on March 27, is a drama/historical film. It was directed by Niki Caro and it is a live action of the original animated version.

A woman disguises herself as a man to battle northern invaders in China to save her father from having to serve in the Imperial Army since he is in poor health.
