The Coronavirus or “The Novel Coronavirus” was first spotted in Wuhan, China. After a close examination by Chinese authorities, doctors and scientists believed that the virus was transmitted through port markets, where fish and fruits were sold.
Although the very first patients were infected at the market, the next couple of patients were believed to be infected through person-to-person contact. Currently, there are approximately 14,000 infected.
The Euroasian and the American government’s promise a cure within 3 months, but they have warned the population to maintain hygiene in order to prevent a contraction. Doctors and scientists informing everyone to stay away from an infected patient.
If one ever does get infected, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) suggests to: “Seek medical care immediately, avoid contact with others, not travel while infected, cover your mouth and nose with a tissue or your sleeve (not your hands) when coughing or sneezing, wash hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds to avoid spreading the virus to others.”
Currently many people are not worried in regards to the spread of the disease in 1st world countries such as the United States. They believe that 1st world countries have the technology to keep the virus contained.
