Stranger Things Season 4

The confirmation of a fourth season for the popular Netflix show,¨Stranger Things was announced last year.

On September 30, 2019, Stranger Things posted on Instagram announcing a season four with a caption that said, “We’re not in Hawkins anymore.”  Netflix also posted on Twitter mentioning that the Duffer Brothers, which are the producers, have signed a multi-year film deal with Netflix, ¨so they can create more films and series, which was exciting news for many.

SPOILER ALERT- ¨After the third season’s finale, fans were left heartbroken,¨after Hopper was believed to have been killed when Joyce was left with no choice but to destroy the machine that was keeping the portal to the side Down open. The room exploded and Hopper was supposedly still inside.

However later fans were left thinking differently, When he release of the Valentine’s Day trailer emerged with Chief Hopper still alive. Unfortunately, the ongoing pandemic has halted the production of season four, so there is no definite release date. However, cast members and fans think the release might be around July or August of 2021.  

The cast was filming during the pandemic but unfortunately had to stop.  What was supposed to be a break of only a few weeks has now dragged on to months.  Even one of the cast stars Gaten,

who plays Dustin said, “We were in the middle of filming season four and then they said, ‘Nope!’ They said a two-week break, and we’ve been gone for three months.¨

Fans can be reassured that there will be plenty of the show in the future.  One of the producers explained, “There will definitely be a season four and there’s very much of the possibility of a fifth.
