Nike has once again decided to work with the streetwear boutique, Union Los Angeles, to release a “new” set of Jordans. Union has partnered up “with them” to give their own twist on some well known Jordan silhouettes.
As of now, Union has been working on three new Jordans set to release on August 29, 2020 exclusively at Union while Nike will be releasing the shoe at select retailers on September 30, 2020 on the Nike website. Three pairs, The Jordan 4, Zoom 92’ and Delta will be released in the Guava Ice/Fusion Red or the Off Noir/Fusion Red color way.
The design on the sneaker features a removable tongue, a plastic see through wing and a cream-like midsole for that vintage look. The shoe also features a yellow Union Los Angeles tag on the netting and also come with a Union X Jordan hang tag.
Many would say these are very attention grabbing shoes, especially if you aware of the culture. The Jordan 4s are the most sought after pair out of the three, so I asked a friend of mine, Loi Tsan, what his thoughts on these sneakers. He replied with, “These shoes are very stylish, but they are expensive.”
Many people were able to buy manual, as many of the sneaker bots failed. The resell as of now is 1000+, and according to sixfiguresneakerhead.com, “…that doesn’t mean that it will have a lower resale value. In fact, our estimates show that they’re more popular because of their more “easy on the eye” colorway.”
