The newest Call of Duty will be released for the 16th consecutive year. Call of Duty: Cold War is set to be available on the PS4, PS5, Xbox series X/S, Xbox One and PC on November 13, 2020. Next-gen versions of the game will retail at $70, while the current-gen will retail at $60.

Although the global release is set for November 13, 2020, anyone buying a PS5 copy of the game outside the U.S. and Canada will receive their copy on the 19th of November.

Cold War was developed by Treyarch Studios and will include 4K, 120hz support, 3D audio support, hardware-based ray-tracing and shorter load times for next-gen consoles. Current gen consoles will run the game without these features.

According to Treyarch Studios, Black Ops Cold War’s multiplayer is back to, “…authentic boots on the ground combat,” which includes features such as a traditional mini-map, map voting and an FOV slider. Cold War will come with four game modes: Campaign, Multiplayer, Zombies and Warzone.

In an IGN review of the game, Miranda Sanchez shared that, “… so far I’m generally interested given that raven is focusing on the campaign and leaving the multiplayer to Treyarch, I have high expectations for whatever we get to see next.”

Black Ops Cold War includes an all-new Zombies story called “Dark Aether.” The first episode begins on a reconstructed version of Nacht Der Untoten, a classic Zombies map. Zombies and Multiplayer will share load-outs and Battle Pass progress.

Call of Duty: Cold War will expand on the now existing Warzone game mode in Modern Warfare. Warzone’s update adds Cold War themes, locations, weapons and vehicles. All post-launch maps for zombies and multiplayer are confirmed free.
