Michael Lamar White IV, better known as Trippie Redd, is releasing a new album called Pegasus: Neon Shark vs Pegasus, Presented by Travis Barker, after his last album, Pegasus, didn’t do too well.

Trippie’s debut mixtape, A Love Letter to You, released in 2017. Songs such as “Love Scars” “Dark Knight Dummo,” and alongside his studio album Life’s a Trip, were some of his works that made his popularity skyrocket.

According to fans who didn’t like the previous album, Trippie decided to try out the rock genre for Neon Shark vs Pegasus, especially in standout track “Pill Breaker”: “There aren’t three artists that are better than Trippie Redd, blackbear, and Machine Gun Kelly at blending indie-punk with hip-hop in their music. Since this is the case, it makes all of the sense in the world that they decided to unite for “Pill Breaker.”

His new album, Neon Shark vs Pegasus, will be released on February 19, 2021.
