A new miniseries on Netflix called Behind Her Eyes was released on February 17, 2021.

This mind-twisting thriller was originally written by Sarah Pinborough as a novel, and director Erik Richter Strand made the incredible adaptation of this boggling story.

Behind Her Eyes has been on Netflix’s Top 10 since its release date because of its interesting storyline. The show follows the story of a single mother, Louise, played by Simona Brown, who has entered the life of a man she met at a bar and his mysterious wife. She then discovers that this man, David, played by Tom Baterman, is her new boss. Secrets start to uncover as she finds herself having an affair with her boss while also building a friendship with his wife.

The first few episodes start with a casual but puzzling series of events, but as the show progresses, the storyline shifts, leaving the audience in awe. Czarina Nalapo, a Nogales senior who watched the show shared that, “It interested me because I really didn’t know what was going to happen, and which characters to trust. When I felt like I figured it out, I got it all wrong.

During the final episode, the most unexpected plot twist is revealed, which also started the hashtag #WTFThatEnding, that trended all over social media. “I couldn’t have guessed that ending, I personally don’t like it but it is an outstanding plot,” said Miles Berganio, a sophomore from Nogales. Frankly, the ending may not be everyone’s cup of tea but it is definitely worth the watch.
