Club Fair Showcases the Variety of Activities at Nogales

Emma Rodriguez, Freshman

From September 20-22, the Club Fair was held during lunch in the lawn between buildings B and C. Many amazing clubs were presenting their features and advantages. Unfortunately, the last days of the fair were cancelled due to extreme heat.

Some of the more popular clubs that were present included Math club, Key club, and Herencia Latina. Freshman, Sarah Murrilo, enjoyed how the clubs interacted with the students: “Some clubs asked questions and if you answered right you got candy.”

Alan Alverez, freshman, liked the variety of clubs: “There were all sorts of attractive clubs like the LGBTQ+ and Mental Health club, showing the different interests of the people here at school.”

If you did not get to attend the club fair, almost all of them have Instagram accounts, such as the Math Club (@thenogalesmathclub), Key Club @nogaleshskeyclub and National Honor Society (@nogales.nhs), where they will be posting more information and updates.

Joining a club is a wonderful way to get involved as well as meeting and connecting with people that share similar interests as you.
