Theme Parks Get Prepared to Celebrate Halloween

October is the time of the year where all the local theme parks get into the Halloween spirit.

Halloween Nights are special events that occur every day from September until October 31st, celebrated in theme parks such as Universal Studios, Knotts Berry Farm and Six Flags Magic Mountain.

Knott’s Berry Farm’s theme this year for “Scary Farm” is “Die for with spooky eats and treats.”  Their tickets are $53 if purchased online and $89 in the front entrance. Melissa Turriaga, a worker at Knott’s Berry Farm, loves this month of spooky activities: “Halloween is the best time of the year to visit the park and to enjoy the lights at night.”

The theme for this year’s October festivities in Universal Studios is “Never go alone.” Located in the City Plaza inside the park, it is the smallest theme park to have Halloween themed nights, yet it is still as much fun. Tickets for Horror Nights range from $76 to $90.

“Fright Fest” at Six Flags is one of the most popular places to go during October nights. An online purchase of a ticket is $66. Entries bought at the gate are $81.

All three amusement parks have prepared lots of scares for their attendees with haunted attractions, scary characters and eerie entertainment.
