Nintendo’s Black Friday Sales

Nintendo’s Black Friday Sales

Bostun Wu, Senior

As Black Friday just occured and sales continue, you’re probably looking around for the best deals if you enjoy video games. Luckily for them, Nintendo has already revealed their plans for this year, declaring that their offers will begin on Sunday, November 21st.

According to Nintendo Life, they will be providing stores with the standard Nintendo Switch bundle, just like last year. This includes the Switch console (V2 model) and a three-month individual membership for their Nintendo Switch Online service with a digital copy of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe as a bonus. In total, the bundle costs $299.99, with the V2 model being confirmed to have “… improved battery life.”

Alongside the bundle, several games will receive $20 discounts— this includes games that hardly ever go on sale, such as Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition, Astral Chain, and Paper Mario: The Origami King. In addition to those, other games with price drops are The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Splatoon 2, Kirby Star Allies and Fire Emblem: Three Houses.

According to Nogales High School student Madelyn Wu, you can get bigger discounts on other games for the Switch, including “… Ring Fit Adventure for $55 (originally $80) and Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit for $60 (originally $100).”

As of now, these are the biggest sales yet for these titles. Remember that all of these deals end soon, so make haste and snatch some extra games before it’s too late.
