Jurassic World: Dominion Marks the End to a Legendary Series

To this day, Jurassic World: Dominion continues to generate buildup from its fan base without a trailer to call its own. While fans might consider the 5-minute prologue to be a trailer, ScreenRant begs to differ, clarifying, “it wasn’t an actual trailer since that footage was made specifically for marketing purposes.”

So far, it is set to release this summer on June 10th, 2022, continuing off of where its predecessor, Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom (2018) had ended. It will follow up the events of Fallen Kingdom, being 4 years after the dinosaurs escaped captivity and barged into a world which was once their own.

As for the story, Jurassic World: Dominion will focus on the human race learning to live in a world where creatures from a bygone era are roaming the lands (and sea) once more. According to TechRadar, by virtue of the film being Jurassic World, you can already tell our “heroes” will be met with sinister corporate forces who seek to “… exploit the new normal.”

To celebrate the ending of a great series with 30 years of history, writer-director Colin Trevorrow has invited the stars from Jurassic Park: Jeff Goldblum, Sam Neill, and Laura Dern, who will join Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard for one final film together.

While it is saddening to see such a legendary saga come to an end, it is with no doubt that the series will go down in history, making itself known among the modern-day blockbuster hit franchises.
