Upcoming School Events In March

The month of March will be action packed in regards to school events

The girls softball and boys baseball teams have a busy schedule in March. The boys are playing Ontario on the 1st, El Monte on the 4th, Los Altos on the 7th, South El Monte on the 11th, Gladstone on the 16th, Cathedral on the 24th and Workman on the 25th at 3:15 PM. The girls will be playing Ontario on the 1st, Wilson on the 9th, Gladstone on the 17th, Workman on the 22nd and Hillcrest on the 29th. These games are at 3:30 PM. 

Boys and girls badminton will also have several games at 3:30 PM. They’re playing Basset on the 8th, Baldwin Park on the 10th, Sierra Vista on the 15th and Poly/Pasadena on the 22nd.

The boys tennis team will face Duarte on the 7th, Sierra Vista on the 17th, Azusa on the 22nd and Gladstone on the 24th at 3:30 PM. 

At 3:30 PM, the swim team will be competing against La Puente on the 15th and Edgewood on the 22nd.

The track team has one event this month against Baldwin park on the 10th after school.

There will be a virtual Dr. Seuss Night hosted by the IB Questers on the 3rd of the month where the life of Dr. Seuss will be commemorated and appreciated through the readings of his work. 

On March 11, the District String Festival will take place in the gym from 6-8 PM.

The MPR will have back-to-back events with the Art Showcase on the 17th and the Latin ball on the 18th.

The Clash of the Classes Rally, where senior, junior, sophomore and freshman classes compete in fun games, will be on the 24th at the gym. 

Bite of Reality, “a hands-on app based simulation that appeals to teens while giving them a taste of real world financial realities,” will be on the 16th of March at the gym.
