Latin Ball Takes Place for the First Time in Two Years

Juan Perez, Senior

Nogales High School’s Herencia Latina club hosted their annual Latin Ball on the 18th of March at 6 PM in the Multipurpose Room (MPR). The event went well and many students were able to go out and have fun. About 150 students attended and had a wonderful time at the ball.

Senior, Adrian Flores attended the Latin Ball for the first time and had an excellent experience:  “I enjoyed it though I initially didn’t expect to have that much fun.”

This year’s Latin ball featured a DJ and live music with Banda El Coronel, paired with tacos being served.

Spanish teacher and Herencia Latina advisor, Mrs.Pineda, stated how well the event went. “The Latin Ball was a great success and I appreciate everyone who helped out to make this happen. I was happy to see the students have fun and see them dancing non-stop to the music.”
